fernando gentil is a corporate finance and operations leader within the cpg industry. his broad-based competencies and career span from ceo and board leadership to supply chain management. prior to founding natureza, fernando was associate finance director at anheuser-busch inbev working in st. louis, new york and shanghai, china. his responsibilities within abi’s business budgeting and planning group included fp&a, zbb, and investor relations. prior to abinbev, fernando was a member of jpmorgan’s global investment opportunities group, covering a wide range of asset classes related to the cpg and retail sectors. he began his career at deutsche bank in the latin america m&a group. fernando received his mba from oxford university and bs from georgetown university (foreign service). he has been an investor in early stage consumer companies and seed funds for the past 10 years. current investments include laird superfood (superfood coffee creamers and coconut waters), bev (canned wine), yellowbird (organic sauces), and happy again pet (pet superfood). he works closely with founders on omni-channel sales execution, wholesale distribution, capital raising strategies, and executive recruiting.




collin eckles is an entrepreneur, individual investor, and a general partner across alternatives. prior to co-founding natureza, collin served as managing director of tri-forge capital partners, where he and his partners syndicated $60M in lp capital for bay area real estate opportunities. before this, collin spent six years in asia building rose rock group, the asia platform for the steven rockefeller jr. family office, from inception to managing five offices, overseeing several investments and raising over $500m of equity, before completing its sale to new asia group in january 2016. that year collin began his individual investing within the consumer industry, when he made his first investments in hungryroot and clean juice, both now valued over $100m. collin’s own investment portfolio now includes food & beverage, household & personal care, specialty retail & services and lifestyle brand sectors. collin’s deep experience across asset classes and his global network serve as key attributes in accessing quality opportunities, performing extensive diligence, and negotiating superior terms for his capital partners. collin received his ba in finance and international business from georgetown university mcdonough school of business.




joe tonnos is an active investor in the consumer and retail industry spanning a wide range of transaction sizes and structures, including venture capital, growth equity, private equity and public markets. joe is a principal at mistral equity partners, a consumer-focused investment firm. at mistral, joe is actively involved in sourcing, due diligence and execution of new investment opportunities as well as monitoring portfolio companies. joe is on the management team of haymaker acquisition corp., sits on the board of worldwise, a privately held pet products company and is actively involved with other portfolio companies, including the lovesac company [nasdaq: love], by chloe and onespaworld [nasdaq: osw]. joe is also a co-founder of ketch ventures, an investor and strategic partner to early stage, disruptive, consumer facing businesses. after starting his career as a foreign exchange trader at cibc capital markets, joe worked in the consumer and retail investment banking groups at lazard and bank of america merrill lynch. joe earned a bs in finance and an mba from niagara university.
